Artificial Intelligence Library Services [archive
news item: 2002]
The Artificial Intelligence Library was almost
completely destroyed in the fire in the heart of Edinburgh's Old
Town on 7th December 2002.
New Arrangements for A.I. Library Services
Arrangements have been made to provide continued
Library services for Artificial Intelligence as follows:
- Current journals normally displayed at A.I. will be displayed
in the Main Library (on the
first floor, alongside other current journals)
- The AI book collection is being established in the Main Library
(first floor)
- Requests to buy replacement copies of books should be sent to
Olga Franks (Olga@inf.ed.ac.uk);
but for items required urgently please complete an InterLibrary
Loan form
- InterLibrary Loan requests can be made for any books, journal
articles and research reports which are no longer available; there
will be no charge for this. Online
request forms are available for this; please help us process
your request promptly by specifying that this is for A.I. material
and by completing the user agreement form.
Printed InterLibrary Loan forms are also available in all Library
sites
